WHAT IS KLAVARSKRIBO? 2nd edition. The purpose of this booklet is: to explain the essentials of Klavarskribo—to compare Klavarskribo with the old notation-also as applied to various instruments, singing and theory—to give information concerning the Klavarskribo Institute, its activities and achievements—to point the way to the practical application of Klavarskribo, both for playing and tuition.

Klavarskribo is a music notation that was introduced in 1931 by the Dutchman Cornelis Pot. The name means "keyboard writing" in Esperanto. It differs from conventional music notation in a number of ways and is intended to be easily readable.
